Who We Are

Armortech Windows and Doors was established in 2008 by David Yount. Having been in the Window and Door industry for almost a decade prior, Dave loved sales. But over the years he felt that he could provide much more to improve the overall client experience. So he decided to launch their own window and door company. The first showroom was located in a small warehouse in Clearwater, Florida. During the first year of business Armortech had acquired a total of 118 customers and had built a very solid reputation.

Since then Armortech has acquired a much bigger facility in Clearwater and opened another branch in Sarasota, Florida. The company has grown steadily throughout the years by providing quality products coupled with professional installations. Armortech now serves more than eighty new customers per month by providing all types of window and door replacement services meeting Florida’s building code standards, as well as meeting all ranges of consumer budgets.

Armortech currently employs over fifty highly-qualified team members and all work performed is done by Armortech’s own employees. Unlike other competitors, no part of the Armortech installation process is ever out-sourced to third-party contractors. From the initial sales consultation, to the final date of completed install, only Armortech team members are involved.

   I replaced my back door and the job was finally completed about 2 weeks ago. Marty A. and Luis M were great. They were very careful to keep my place as clean and dust free as possible while demolition was happening. The rest of the crew were also efficient, professional, on time and quite courteous.    First I want to thank the following people and in my opinion, the most professional crew I have had the honor to have had met. Nick W. Brian B., John And Antonio. From the start with Brian  coming to our home and showing us the product, giving us a fair estimate, and Josh measuring and explaining the process of installing the windows. On day one, Nick W and Brian B arrived, they started to remove the old windows and immediately noticed rot issues, they called their supervisor, to let them know a problem have arisen. They were able to install one window, and sent pics to show the damage. The next day, Nick, Brian, and now John and Antonio arrived, John and Antonio, assessed the damaged and set up a plan of attack to fix the issues, while Nick and Brian were able to complete two more windows. John and Antonio gave me the plan of action needed to fix the rot in three areas, all were major, The next day, work started, the amazing thing I noticed was how in tune Nick, Brian, John and Antonio were, work never stopped, Antonio worked in the Back, John worked up front, Nick and Brian continued installing. Brian  the sales rep came by to ask how everything was going, it felt good seeing him going out his way to make sure everything was going smooth, I truly appreciated that. Once Antonio and John completed the repairs, Nick and Brian were able to install four more windows. The next day all four came and installed the final two windows. Even though major repairs needed to be done the four kept everything on schedule, with exceptional workmanship.
The last thing I would like to share, my neighbors down the street were having their windows installed on the same day by a competitor, they had the same issue i had but to much less degree, their installers would not repair the rot and they had to hire another contractor to repair the issue, also their windows are still in the garage waiting to be installed after the contractor completes the repairs.

   We had Josh H and Jim M in our home for the last couple of days. Both of them together were amazing. They knew exactly what to do. Everything was cleaned up.
